Knowing that the receptionist is still employed after reading all these horrible reviews and experiencing the the worst customer service in America, is both shocking and disappointing. Keeping the receptionist employed is by far...very far... the WORST investment the dentist has made. If only he knew the thousands of dollars he loses by keeping such an ogre in charge of the front desk. I put a deposit for a procedure and quickly withdrew it after the horrible customer service. If I could rate my experience with negative stars I would.
Office Manager is Rude an Communicates in a Unprofessional Obnoxious Manner. When you report this to the head Dentist he says nothing to her. And when you speak about that he begins to Communicate just like his Office Manager Rude Unprofessional and Obnoxious!
Extremely rude receptionist, this place should be shut down or get re-staffed. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I just went here due to a slight discomfort in my top back tooth. I tell the dental assistant that I am pregnant and may not be able to have an X-Ray. The dentist comes in, I let him know exactly where I was feeling a slight discomfort, he seemingly examines My teeth and tells me that I have swelling in my gums and should use sensodyne toothpaste. Fine. The dentist leaves and the assistant proceeds to begin cleaning my teeth, I ask her to please examine the back top tooth, as I feel a hole and just don’t trust the dentist’s diagnosis of sensitive gums. Nonetheless, the assistant tells me that my filling has fallen out and needs to be re-filled! Now, WHY DIDN’T THE DENTIST DIAGNOSE THAT ISSUE that was easily identifiable by the dental assistant’s eyes?! She also explained the need for me to get a letter from my doctor detailing what dental work would be safe for me to get during my pregnancy, something the dentist failed to tell me about as well. I’ll never go back here! Update: 2 weeks later, I went to a new dentist at Harlem Dental Associate (address; 2225 5th Ave) and got my cavity filled. The dentist there told me that I needed an immediate filling because the hole in my tooth was so big that in a few months I would’ve had to get a root canal. BEWARE of this dentist and go elsewhere for your own good.
I've been coming here for several years because my options are limited with my union dental insurance. The quality of dentristry is actually pretty good and the dentist's are friendly. What is not great is the wait and the unfriendliness of the receptionists and officer manager. Coming here is better than not going to a dentist but if you can go somewhere better, I'd suggest doing that.
