For someone who has dentist anxiety I have left this office several times smiling . Opposite of my normal crying.I appreciate the work that Dr.Newmam did in putting in my dental implants which were fairly painless by the way. From the front Desk to the staff in the back the dentist himself they are caring friendly and very efficient. Ms. Lady at the front desk worked tirelessly to make sure my insurance went through. I truly want to say thank you to everyone there for giving me my smile back. I would rate them the top dentist in The Bronx. Extremely clean and he invested in the best air purifiers after his reopening. Update: 6 months with several implants. I was just sitting here like I forgot I had implants. No pain no discomfort , I absolutely ♥love the work that was done. I truly can't say thank you enough!!!!!!
On my last three visits to this office, in spite of the fact that I arrived on time for each appointment, I waited anywhere from 45 to 1:30 minutes to be served. On TWO occasions now, the dentist pasted a crown on my tooth which fell out shortly thereafter. When I went back to get it fixed, he told me that it would not fall out again because he had used some really strong cement. All I could think was, “What kind of cement did you use the first time?” I also had an incident where I had to get a crown that was not covered by my insurance. I put down half of the cost ($300) and left. When I came back for the final appointment where I was to pay the second installment ($300), before the dentist would start, he sent his office manager to me (while I was in the dentist chair) to request that I pay upfront. I found this very unprofessional and just downright rude being that I always pay my bills and have a $0 balance at his office. In addition, I sent my son to see Dr. Newman. My son is 22 years old and has excellent oral hygiene. Both times my son went to this dentist the man suggested that he needed a root canal (on two different teeth). Prior to my son’s experience, I had wondered why the doctor was always insisting that I needed a root canal but I figured that since I’m older, maybe it was for good reason but after my son’s diagnosis, I’ve come to think that the doctor is not interested in finding less invasive and less costly options for the clientele. Having said this, there are positive aspects to my visits. The hygienist, Jiselle, is excellent. She gets your teeth super clean and is always pleasant.
I have GREAT anxiety about dentists But I am very pleased with the doctor’s care and the staff care. They took wonderful care of me and understood my anxiety. I am still a big chicken and a scary cat but I VERY GRATEFUL AND HAPPY!! God bless them. 5 stars!!
The staff is wonderful. Everyone was nice and pleasant. Dr. Neman and Giselle was very informative and helpful. Positive energy throughout the office. Definitely, look forward to the next appointment and will recommend them to everyone.
Dr Jilbert and his staff always made me very comfortable, he always made sure that I felt no pain, plus he would explain to me what he was doing and what to expect in my next visit. Dr Jilbert was very professional and I would recommend him to anybody that needs to have work done.
